One of the great things about running is that there is always a level playing field. It doesn't matter whether you are big or small. It makes no difference if you are a beginning runner or a seasoned veteran. There is no age discrimination. Both masters runners and young runners have the same opportunities. While running is equal for everyone, the training requirements will vary from runner to runner. Young or youth runners have their own unique training needs. A young athlete needs to pay close attention to proper conditioniong and strengthening.
