Time Saver Workouts For Runners

 

Time or lack thereof. Many athletes and exercise buffs use a lack of time as an excuse for skipping a workout. But, we're runners. We never use a lack of time as an excuse for skipping a run, do we? Yah - right! I'm no mind reader but I can tell you that there are very few of us that haven't blown off a workout because of time challenges. Runners are much different than many other types of athletes. We love to run, so we really don't want to come up with lame excuses for not running. We want to get in our workouts. We feel sluggish and depressed all day if we don't get our endorphin fix for the day.

That being said, our daily social and work schedule can and does sometimes interfere with our running. If you have limited time you may think you need to skip your run, but you're wrong. I know - runners are never wrong, but in this case I think you should revisit your decision not to run. Running is a simple sport. You don't need a lot of equipment or special facilities. You can just lace up ( or go barefoot ) and head out the door. So you can always get in a time saver workout.
