Training Heart Rate CalculatorTo develop and maintain a healthy level of fitness, you should exercise at your training heart rate a minimum of 5 days a week for a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes. To find your training heart rate you must first determine your resting heart rate. Measure your resting heart rate upon waking up in the morning. Measure your pulse for 15 seconds and multiply by 4. Do this on three consecutive mornings and use the average of the three measurements. |
