Progressive Training

 

Progressive training is a distance running training technique in which you perform a series of repeats or runs that become progressively more intense in nature. This style of training is an excellent way to train your body to handle high levels of fatigue and stress while in a fatigued state. The progressive nature of moving from low intensity to high intensity levels is also a very safe and effective way to train because your body gradually warms into the harder portions of the workout.
