3 Hour 30 Minute Marathon Training Program - Basic Competitive Level
This is an basic level marathon training program eBook that will prepare you to run a marathon in 3 hours 30 minutes. This marathon training eBook is intended for runners with limited competitive experience. The marathon schedule includes long runs at both an easy pace and goal pace speeds, high intensity interval training, lactate threshold training runs and strength training. The 20 week marathon training schedule begins with a 12 mile long run and progresses to 23 miles with a portion at goal pace. There is also an 8 week build up schedule included that begins with a 4 mile long run. This 3 hour 30 minute marathon training program has over 50 pages with a program overview, an 8 week marathon build up training schedule, a detailed 20 week marathon training schedule and a marathon strength training program. Also included is a chapter on race strategy.
If you can currently run a marathon in 3 hours 31minutes to 3 hours 40 minutes, you should be able to reach the 3 hour 30 minute marathon goal time using this program. If you are currently running a marathon in 3 hours 41 minutes to 3 hours 45 minutes, you may be able to reach the 3 hour 30 minute level, but it would be difficult. If you are currently running a marathon in over 3 hours 45 minutes, I would suggest starting with a more reasonable goal of 10 minutes faster than your current pace before attempting a 3 hour 30 minute marathon program.
Every workout in this marathon training eBook includes the exact training paces you need to finish your marathon in 3 hours 30 minutes. This is as close to personal coaching you can get without paying big bucks for custom coaching.
