2 Hour 30 Minute Marathon Training Program


This is a marathon training program that will prepare you to run a 2 hour 30 minute marathon.. This marathon training program includes an overview, a detailed 20 week workout schedule that includes all training paces for a 2 hour 30 minute marathon, a full marathon running strength training program and tips on race day strategy. A 8 week marathon training build up schedule is also included.

If you can currently run a marathon in 2 hours 31 minutes to 2 hours 40 minutes, you should be able to reach the 2 hour 30 minute  marathon time using this program. If you are currently running a marathon in 2 hours 41 minutes to 2 hours 45 minutes, you may be able to reach the 2 hour 30 minute marathon level, but it would be difficult. If you are currently running a marathon in over 2 hours 45 minutes, I would suggest starting with a more reasonable goal of 10 minutes faster than your current pace before attempting a 2 hour 30 minute marathon training program.
