This plan is an intermediate - moderate training effort level plan that is intended for beginning to intermediate competitive runners. This 12 week - 6 to 7 day per week plan begins with a base long run of 7 miles and progresses to 16 miles. This high level plan also includes moderate to high intensity running workouts and strength training. The eBook is 32 pages in length and includes a program overview, full detailed 12 week training schedule, specific training paces for goal finishing times between 1 hour and 2 hours 25 minutes, a strength training program and race strategy.
This half marathon training plan is based upon multi-pace training. It will improve your endurance, stamina, speed, running strength, running economy, neuromuscular conditioning and will help you meet any half marathon finishing goal from 1:00 to 2:25. The following types of workouts are included:
